Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AyeoLab (“Ayeo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Ayeo.

If you are using Ayeo on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Ayeo is an adaptive AI learning and knowledge platform. It began with students and learning as its initial focus, and is designed to grow into a broader environment for engineers, researchers, professionals, teams, and organizations over time.

Not every capability described on our website is available to every user at every stage of the product’s development. Where a capability is part of our long-term direction rather than something available today, we aim to say so clearly.

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use Ayeo. If the law in your jurisdiction sets a minimum age for agreeing to terms like these, you confirm that you meet it, or that a parent, guardian, or institution has agreed to these Terms on your behalf where required.

Creating an account requires a valid email address, and may involve signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account and session secure and for all activity that occurs under it. Contact us at support@ayeo.name.ng promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

“User Content” means the materials you upload (documents, PDFs, notes, and similar files), the questions and text you write, and any other input you provide to Ayeo.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant Ayeo a limited license to store, process, and use that content solely to operate and provide the service to you — for example, to generate explanations, summaries, flashcards, or practice questions from your own materials.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any content you provide, including that it does not infringe someone else’s copyright or violate someone else’s privacy.

Ayeo uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, summaries, flashcards, quiz questions, and conversational responses (“AI Output”). AI Output is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific situation.

AI Output does not constitute professional, academic, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using AI Output at your own judgment.

Ayeo is a tool that helps you understand, practice, and work with information — it does not replace instructors, mentors, supervisors, licensed professionals, or your own judgment.

Decisions about coursework, exams, professional work, or any outcome that depends on accuracy should not rely solely on AI Output. You remain responsible for verifying information before relying on it in an academic, professional, or any other consequential context.

You agree not to use Ayeo to:

• Violate any law or a third party’s rights;
• Upload content you don’t have the right to share;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with Ayeo’s systems;
• Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls;
• Generate content intended to harass, defraud, or harm others;
• Misrepresent AI Output as your own original work where that would violate an institution’s or organization’s policies (see our Acceptable Use Policy for more on academic integrity); or
• Resell or provide commercial access to Ayeo without our written permission.

Ayeo’s software, design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as needed to use the service normally.

Ayeo relies on third-party providers to operate, including:

• AI model providers (OpenAI, Google’s Gemini, and DeepSeek) to generate AI Output;
• Google, for account sign-in;
• Resend, for transactional email delivery such as verification codes; and
• Paystack, for processing payments on paid plans.

Your use of Ayeo may be subject to those providers’ own terms where you interact with their services directly — for example, when signing in with a Google account. We choose these providers carefully, but we do not control their systems and are not responsible for their availability or performance.

We aim to keep Ayeo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Ayeo may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or circumstances outside our control. Features described as available may change, be limited, or be discontinued as the product evolves.

Ayeo offers a free tier and may offer paid plans with additional features or higher usage limits. Free accounts may be subject to usage limits (for example, on the number of AI interactions or document uploads per day), which may change over time.

Where paid plans exist, pricing will be clearly displayed before you are charged, and payments are processed through Paystack. Fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at the time of purchase.

You may stop using Ayeo and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@ayeo.name.ng.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, or that pose a security risk to Ayeo or other users. Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to notify you before or after taking such action.

Ayeo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI Output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ayeo and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI Output.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Ayeo is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms as Ayeo evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users — for example, by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Ayeo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
