Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what responsible use of Ayeo looks like, alongside our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone using Ayeo, regardless of whether you’re a student, engineer, researcher, professional, or part of an organization’s team.

Do not use Ayeo to generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, or intended to harm a specific person or group. Do not use Ayeo to attempt to obtain instructions for creating weapons, malware, or other content intended to cause serious harm.

Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, authentication, or access controls. Do not use automated tools to scrape, overload, or interfere with Ayeo’s systems. Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits or restrictions placed on a previous account.

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, content, or data. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Ayeo’s systems without our prior written permission. If you discover a security vulnerability, report it to us responsibly (see “Reporting Abuse” below) rather than exploiting or publicizing it.

Do not upload content you don’t have the right to use, or use Ayeo to reproduce copyrighted material in ways that infringe others’ rights. Do not use Ayeo’s outputs to build a competing product by systematically extracting or reverse-engineering our underlying systems.

Ayeo is a learning tool designed to help you understand material, practice, and prepare — not a substitute for doing your own academic work.

If you’re a student, follow your institution’s academic integrity policies regarding AI assistance: some institutions permit AI-assisted studying but prohibit submitting AI Output as your own original work. It’s your responsibility to know and follow the rules that apply to you.

This guidance applies specifically to academic contexts — Ayeo is not defined as a student-only product, and the same principle of using AI output responsibly, and disclosing it where required, applies equally in professional and organizational contexts.

If you use Ayeo in a professional capacity or as part of an organization, you’re responsible for ensuring your use complies with your employer’s or organization’s own policies regarding AI tools, confidential information, and data handling — particularly before uploading sensitive organizational materials.

AI Output can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong. You are responsible for verifying anything you intend to rely on, especially where it matters — coursework, professional deliverables, technical decisions, or anything with real consequences. Treat Ayeo as a starting point for understanding, not a final authority.

If you encounter content, behavior, or a security issue that appears to violate this policy, report it to support@ayeo.name.ng with as much detail as you can provide. We review reports and take action consistent with our Terms of Service.

Violating this Acceptable Use Policy may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, depending on the severity and nature of the violation, as described in our Terms of Service.
